How a report works
Score anything on Check, or with the Chrome extension. On Premium and Pro, turn that score into a report. Issuing a report does not spend a Check. Free does not issue reports.
Hand over the link or the PDF. The person who receives it opens the record at dotcheck.ai/verify. No account needed to check one.
Documents work the same way: score the file, issue, hand over. Recipients can drop the original when the report allows a file match.
Honest limits
A DotCheck report records what was measured and when. It does not prove authorship or origin. Image, audio, and document reports can match a file. Text and video use the link and ID only.
You can withdraw a report from Check. If you erase your account, issued reports are de-identified so verify links keep working.
On Pro, Confirm is an optional second opinion when you ask for one. Free and Premium never send everyday checks to those services in the background.
